Education is more than a transmission of facts and skills. To truly educate is to draw forth the qualities of heart and intellect that make for excellence in both human development and academic achievement. We cannot truly learn unless we make space for the inner life in which reflection, imagination and intuition are cultivated.

This institute for educators and parents will feature presentations by Dr. Tobin Hart, psychologist and author of From Information to Transformation: Education for the Evoluton of Consciousness and other works on the inner lives of children and adults.

Conference faculty will include David Marshak of Seattle University, John Morefield, faculty on the University of Washington Danforth Educational Leadership program, Judith Gray of Antioch University, Mike Seymour, Director of the Heritage Institute, and others other outstanding educators. Sessions will help teachers at all levels to foster a more authentic and alive learning environment.
