Jay McTighe is a veteran educator (46 years) and a practicing meditators for 45 of those years. He served as a teacher, a program coordinator at the district level, and in a policy level position at a State Education Department. He is co-author with Grant Wiggins of the widely-acclaimed curriculum framework, Understanding by Design® and currently serves as an international educational consultant.
